Het iSPEX-project ‘Meet fijnstof met je smartphone’ heeft met de Academische Jaarprijs 2012 een geldbedrag van 100.000 euro gewonnen. Tijdens een spannende finale liet iSPEX woensdagavond in de Leidse Stadsgehoorzaal de twee andere teams, uit Groningen, achter zich. Met de Academische Jaarprijs op zak kunnen wij het plan uitvoeren om met een opzetstukje voor een smartphone en een bijbehorende App het grootste Nederlandse citizen science experiment ooit te realiseren.
The iSPEX-project ‘Measure Particular Matter with Your Smartphone' has won the Academische Jaarprijs and thereby an amount of 100.000 euros. In an exciting final in the Leidse Stadsgehoorzaal, the iSPEX team beat the other two teams from Groningen. With the awarded prize we can realize our plan to stage the greatest Dutch citizen science project ever, with the help of an attachment to a smartphone and an App that goes along with it.
